Cancellation terms
Six spots a Friday means an empty one cannot be filled at short notice. These terms keep that fair for everyone, and they are written to be read once and understood. They apply to every Hornbill Huddle Friday-night drop-off session in Sengkang, Singapore.

Confirming and paying
A spot is held once we reply to confirm it. Payment is by PayNow after that confirmation and before the session. Until payment reaches us the spot is provisional, and if another family pays for the last spot first, theirs is the confirmed one.
Cancelling more than 48 hours ahead
Message us on WhatsApp and the full fee is credited to any other Friday within the next three months. Credits can be used for a sibling. If you would rather have the money back than a credit, tell us and we will refund by PayNow within five working days.
Cancelling inside 48 hours
The fee stands, because the food is bought and the evening is staffed for your child. We will always try to fill the spot from the waiting list, and if we do, you get a full credit. No-shows are treated the same way.
If your child is unwell
Please keep them home with a fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, hand foot and mouth disease, or anything else contagious. Tell us as early as you can, whatever the hour, and we move the session to another Friday at no cost. This one sits outside the 48-hour rule entirely — we would always rather you kept a sick child home.
If we have to cancel
If illness on our side, a family emergency or anything else means we cannot run a Friday, you get the choice of a full refund or a credit, and we tell you as early as we possibly can.
Late pick-up
Pick-up runs from 9.30 to 10pm. If you are running late, message us — a few minutes is never a problem. Beyond 10.15pm a late fee of S$20 per 15 minutes applies, which covers the adult staying with your child.
Leaving early
You are welcome to collect your child at any point in the evening. The fee is for the session rather than the hours, so it is not reduced for an early pick-up.
Behaviour and settling
If a child is not settling, or their behaviour is not safe for the other five, we call you to collect them. The evening is refunded pro rata in that case. We will always talk to you about it first rather than simply declining a future booking.
Changing your date
Moving to a different Friday is free with more than 48 hours' notice and subject to a spot being open. Inside 48 hours, a change counts as a cancellation.
